Prophetic History?

And....
Hardly a {person} is now alive
Who remembers that day and year."

RSS
OK,
i think it's finished.... for this lesson.
Would have to organize, perhaps prioritize, what and why re the subscribed to feeds.
Seems GREAT for news junkies.?
'The Shifted Librarian' site seemed 'newsy', that's why i chose it.

RSS/KISS
Already
[i'm not through this lesson] i can tell that this 'tech developement' will go through the stages necessary to arrive at KISS wisdom.
Two years of IT study does allow me to understand the language and development story.
Methinks, for our purposes, the 'how to' info would be enough. Sympathies to those who wade through 'protocols', standards, RFC's{There are some very clever RFC's for those who can't get enough research see Jabberwocky - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaIt is generally accepted as the first "joke" RFC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabberwocky - 83k - Cached} and the like.

ARPAWOCKY
Twas brillig, and the Protocols
Did USER-SERVER in the wabe.
All mimsey was the FTP,
And the RJE outgrabe,
Beware the ARPANET, my son;
The bits that byte, the heads that scratch;
Beware the NCP, and shun
the frumious system patch,
He took his coding pad in hand;
Long time the Echo-plex he sought.
When his HOST-to-IMP began to limp
he stood a while in thought,
And while he stood, in uffish thought,
The ARPANET, with IMPish bent,
Sent packets through conditioned lines,
And checked them as they went,
One-two, one-two, and through and through
The IMP-to-IMP went ACK and NACK,
When the RFNM came, he said "I'm game",
And sent the answer back,
Then hast thou joined the ARPANET?
Oh come to me, my bankrupt boy!
Quick, call the NIC! Send RFCs!
He chortled in his joy.

Not very user friendly in my reaction. Have to do too much to get set up; probably have to think too much to keep it going. Some of us still like to: point&click; read &delete; compose &send. AND the idea that ANYONE can access my thots is a freightening discipline!
i DID enjoy the Jazz portiion of the video/tutorial!

KOKO
KOKOPELEMANA
Is the name of the Yorkie that lives with and herds us at our home.
She is as whimsical/magical/and 'Hobbitish' as the mystical flute player familiar to many of America's First Nations Peoples.
We call her KoKo.
